Student Advice offers free, non-judgemental, confidential and professional advice to all students studying, or wishing to study at the University.
- Accessibility Support
We provide support for students with physical disabilities, specific learning differences, mental health conditions or medical conditions to help them throughout their studies wherever possible.
- Advice Service
We can provide generalist welfare advice and we specialise in money advice and the financial options available.
- Counselling Service
The counselling service is available to all students and is via an independent private practice to ensure confidentiality and discretion.
There are a number of ways in which we can help students struggling with money including the BGU Learning Fund and the BGU Bursary.
- Students from Care
We support students from care by coordinating financial support and locating and providing other sources of helpful assistance.
Schools Administration Office
The Schools Administration Office can help you with Student Certificate for Council Tax purposes (available at the end of October), Assignment Extension forms and payments for Course trips.
The office is located on the ground floor of the Skinner Annexe building (just round the corner from the Assignment Office).
The office’s opening times are:
Monday – Thursday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
Friday: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
